Profit Log helps you create and export invoices, reports, summaries, and business documents. These documents are generated from the information you provide.
You are responsible for reviewing all documents before sending them to clients or using them for business, tax, accounting, or legal purposes.
Profit Log does not guarantee that invoices, tax calculations, exchange-rate values, reports, or exported data satisfy the legal or tax requirements of any specific country, region, business, or industry.
You should consult a qualified accountant, tax advisor, or legal professional for business, tax, or compliance advice.
6. Payment Links on Invoices
Profit Log may allow you to add payment links to invoices so your clients can pay you through third-party payment services.
You are responsible for:
Profit Log does not process payments between you and your clients unless a separate payment integration is explicitly provided. Displaying a payment link on an invoice does not make Profit Log responsible for payment collection, refunds, chargebacks, failed payments, or disputes.
- entering the correct payment link
- ensuring the link belongs to you or your business
- managing payments with the third-party payment provider
- resolving payment disputes with your clients
- complying with the payment provider’s terms
7. Exchange Rates and Multi-Currency Features
Profit Log may provide currency conversion using exchange-rate services, backend services, cached rates, or manual fallback rates.
Exchange rates are provided for convenience and business reporting. They may not always be exact, current, or suitable for legal, tax, or accounting filings.
You should verify exchange rates before relying on them for official accounting, tax, or financial reporting.
8. Smart Messages
Message Templates (Smart Messages) are generated using built-in local templates and information already stored in the app. They do not use third-party AI services in the production app.
Message Templates help you prepare payment reminders, overdue reminders, follow-ups, proposals, thank-you messages, expense summaries, and monthly business summaries using your business and invoice data.
Users are responsible for reviewing all messages before sending them. Message Templates are writing assistance tools and do not provide legal, financial, accounting, tax, or professional advice.
9. Notifications
Profit Log may send local notifications, including invoice due reminders, overdue invoice reminders, recurring invoice reminders, or business summary reminders.
Notifications are provided as a convenience. Profit Log does not guarantee that notifications will always be delivered, delivered at the correct time, or noticed by the user.
You remain responsible for tracking your invoices, payments, deadlines, and business obligations.
10. Subscriptions and Payments
Profit Log offers free and paid subscription plans, including Starter (free), Pro, and Business plans. Monthly and yearly billing options may be available through the App Store.
Paid subscriptions unlock features such as unlimited invoices and estimates, premium invoice and estimate templates, invoice language selection, expense tracking, reports, multiple businesses, recurring invoices, export data PDFs, removal of Profit Log PDF watermarks where applicable, and other premium tools.
Profit Log may offer a time-limited free trial (such as a 3-day trial) for eligible Pro or Business plans when configured in App Store Connect. Trial eligibility, duration, and pricing are determined by Apple and shown in the purchase sheet before you confirm.
Subscriptions purchased through the iOS app are processed by Apple through StoreKit and Apple In-App Purchase. Your subscription is managed by your Apple ID and Apple’s App Store systems.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled according to Apple’s terms and App Store policies.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage, restore, or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Restoring purchases is supported inside the app for the same Apple ID. Profit Log cannot directly cancel Apple subscriptions on your behalf.
If your subscription expires or is cancelled, premium features may become unavailable and you should not assume permanent access to paid features without an active subscription.
11. Free Plan Limits
Profit Log may offer a free Starter plan with limits, such as a limited number of invoices, clients, templates, exports, Smart Messages, or other features.
We may change free plan limits, paid plan features, or subscription offerings from time to time. If you are a paid subscriber, changes that materially affect your subscription will be handled according to applicable App Store rules and laws.
12. Business Workspaces and Team Features
Profit Log may allow Business users to manage multiple business workspaces with separate clients, invoices, estimates, expenses, reports, templates, payment details, and business records.
Team Collaboration lets you share selected business workspaces with invited members through Apple iCloud / CloudKit sharing. Sharing is user-controlled — your private businesses are not automatically shared.
Invited members may access shared business data according to the role and permissions you assign. Team roles may include Owner, Admin, Accountant, and Viewer depending on the feature set available in the app.
You are responsible for managing invitations, roles, permissions, and the information shared with team members.
13. Exported Data
Profit Log may allow you to export business summaries, reports, invoices, estimates, expenses, and other data as PDFs or other formats.
Exported PDFs may include your business logo, client data, line items, notes, payment terms, and other information you entered.
Free, trial, or Starter-plan exports may include a Profit Log watermark on invoice or estimate PDFs. Paid Pro or Business subscribers may export PDFs without the Profit Log watermark when that feature is included in their plan.
You are responsible for reviewing exported files before sharing or relying on them. Profit Log is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect user-entered data, outdated exchange rates, unsupported characters, device issues, or third-party software used to open exported files.
13.5. Invoice and Estimate Templates
Profit Log provides invoice and estimate / proposal templates for on-screen selection and PDF export.
Some templates are available on the free Starter plan; premium templates may require an active Pro or Business subscription.
Templates use business and client information you provide. Profit Log does not guarantee that any template satisfies legal, tax, or industry requirements in your jurisdiction.
13.6. Sign in with Apple
You may sign in to Profit Log using Sign in with Apple.
Apple may provide your name and email address. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email.
Sign in with Apple is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
13.7. Account Deletion
You may delete your Profit Log account or local app data where supported in Settings.
Deleting your account or app data may remove locally stored records and, where applicable, data synced through your iCloud account according to Apple’s CloudKit behavior.
Deleting your Profit Log account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
